You might see Error code 12007-4 and 12152-4 while installing Office 2013, office 365 and office 2016 in windows 7, windows 8, windows 8.1 and windows 10 if you’re having a network connection issue or online installation error. It is recommended to follow the troubleshooting steps in order to fix the issue with installing Office 2013, Office 365 and office 2016

Follow the steps to fix the issue in installing Microsoft Office:

Step 1.

Use wired Connection

If you are using wireless connection to install Microsoft Office it may show Error code 12007-4 and 12152-4 while installing Office 2013, office 365 and office 2016, use  a wired connection to the Internet and try installing Office again.

Step 2.

Try installing from another location

If you are trying to install at Office or at school, the network connection in Office or school may be limited in a way that won’t allow Office or other application to install and it will throw Error code 12007-4 and 12152-4 while installing Office 2013, office 365 and office 2016. If this is the case, take your computer to home, to a friend’s house, or to a wireless hotspot, and then try installing Office again. Once it is installed, you’ll be able to use it at work or school as if you had installed it there.

Step 3.

Temporarily disable proxy settings

Temporarily turn off the proxy settings in your computer to install Microsoft Office in your computer.

  1. Open internet explorer properties
  2. Click on Connections menu
  3. Open LAN settings option
  4. Uncheck the proxy server settings
  5. Install Office program again

Temporarily turn Disable the firewall

In some instance firewall may also block the installation of Office program and you may receive error code 12007-4 and 12152-4 while installing Office 2013, office 365 and office 2016. So disable the firewall settings temporarily for installing Office program.

  2. Click on security and system settings
  3. Select Firewall setting
  4. Temporarily disable the firewall
  5. Try installing Microsoft Office
