Error code 12152-4 when installing Office

Step 1. System File Checker Method

  1. Type “cmd” in the Run window to access “command prompt”.
  2. Type “sfc –scannow” to begin the file checking process.
  3. The SFC scan will detect and fix the errors in the Windows file system module associated with Microsoft office.
  4. Try to install Office and verify the status.

Step 2. Turn Off your Anti Virus

Turn Off your Anti Virus protection temporarily for the installation of the Product.

  1. Open the antivirus console.
  2. Select settings.
  3. Select “disable real time protection” until next reboot option.
  4. Re-install Microsoft office.

Step 3. Temporarily turn off firewall

Step 4 . Remove and Reinstall

Remove the current version of Office product installed on your computer

  1. Access “control panel” from “start” menu.
  2. Select “Program and features” option.
  3. Right click on “Microsoft office” from the list.
  4. Click “uninstall” to completely remove the software from the computer.
  5. Re-install a fresh copy of the Microsoft office to get rid of the errors.
