Receiving’ reported error (0x800CCC90): ‘Your incoming (POP3) e-mail server has reported an internal error. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).

Follow the steps to fix the error 0x800CCC90:

  1. Open Outlook application and click “Send/Receive”, goto “Send/Receive groups” and then select the Define Send/Receive Groups.

  3. Under this new pop-up, choose the Accounts for which you want to create this group. You can choose more than one account as well and then select the “Include account in this send/receive group” checkbox.

  4. Select “Send Mail Items” and “Receive Mail Items” check box.

  5. Click “Download complete item, including attachments” and click “OK”.
