How to block unwanted pop ups from Internet Explorer

Activating Pop up Blocker

1. Type “intercpl.cpl” in run command and press enter.

2. Click to choose “Privacy Tab” in the settings and under the” Pop up blocker” option, click “settings”.

3. In the settings dialog box, set the blocking level to “High”.

Step-2 Blocking pup ups from your Internet Explorer

Enabling “Ad block” extension

1. Open Internet Explorer.

2. Click “Alt+x” to open the “tools” menu.
3. Click on “manage add-ons” option.
4. In the opened Windows click on “Find more tool bars and extensions” option.

5. You will be redirected to Internet Explorer gallery.
6. Search for “Adblock” extension.
7. Once when you get the “Adblock”, click on “Add” button available.
8. This will download the “Adblock” extension which you can add to your extensions.

Step-3

Resetting IE

1. Type “intercpl.cpl” in run command and press enter.

2. Click on “advanced” tab and look for the “Reset” button below.
